Regarding MCS:
MCS was established in 2001 as a spin off of SGI Japan and started operation as a system integrator for image distribution. The company was involved in the construction of IP broadcasting systems mainly using Harmonic products and in 2003 launched an IP telephony business which uses MCS developed packages as the core of the solution. The company has been very successful and has achieved many things since 2004 by strongly establishing its characteristics as a solution provider in the field of broadband services. Currently MCS supplies Harmonic products to many operators that provide IP broadcasting, and CallVoyager ECS to approximately 80% of companies or operators that offer FTTH IP telephony services and new fixed telephone services.
Strengths of MCS:
MCS not only sells overseas products such as Harmonic and Conax used in the DTV industry, but also provides comprehensive service that covers planning, implementation, and maintenance. MCS is highly evaluated for its alliance with Japanese and as well as foreign vendors for its accurate and trusted "technologies." We are convinced that the reason why many clients adopt our mission critical systems such as IP telephony conversion ECS is because MCS products are equipped and endowed with "product power" that combines high quality with proactive innovations. Lastly, our greatest attribute is that each and every one of our professional employees, those who support "technologies" and "product power," are the force behind our products which are strongly supported by many of our clients.
Vision for each project:
In the field of DTV business, we plan to expand sales of new Harmonic products which we supply to many cable service broadcasters and to sell Conax products as new solutions. In the field of telecommunications, as networks become more and more IP oriented, we are developing and providing new products that offer better services for the existing users and that meet the requirements of next generation networks. In FY 2006, we launched our Internet Division business and by developing a ubiquitous movie distribution system we have entered a market that is a new frontier for MCS with many challenges and opportunities.Our efforts have been well received by various clients and we are becoming more successful steadily. We will continue strengthening ties with our partners in various business fields and endeavors, and we will establish new business models that will generate stable profits for the future.
